Our Legacy
The journey of HOUSE OF DEGEMMIS began in Southern Italy with Alfredo DeGemmis in the late 19th century. Starting as a tailor's apprentice at the tender age of six, Alfredo perfected his craft and emigrated to the United States in 1916 to start his own business. Over a century later, his legacy endures as we continue to serve our clients with the dedication and excellence that defined his work.
Our Philosophy
Despite the changes in fashion and technology, we remain rooted in our European heritage. We use only the finest fabrics, tailors, and mills from Europe, proudly representing FATTO UNA ALLA VOLTA (made one at a time). Our garments’ features include full canvas construction, extensive handwork, and technology is used only when it enhances the final product and benefits our clients.
